Best Time to Visit

Spring (Mid-March to April): One of the best seasons for the trek, with daytime temperatures between 15°C and 20°C and cool nights. Snow lingers at higher elevations while blooming wildflowers and lush meadows create stunning landscapes.

Summer (May to June): The most popular time to visit, offering pleasant weather (15°C–25°C), clear trails, and comfortable trekking conditions. Ideal for beginners, families, and those looking to experience the meadows at their greenest.

Autumn (Mid-September to November): Fresh post-monsoon greenery, crisp mountain air, and excellent visibility make autumn another great season. Days remain pleasant (13°C–18°C), while nights can dip below freezing point at higher camps.

Winter (December to February): Dayara Bugyal transforms into a snow-covered paradise, with daytime temperatures around 5°C–12°C and nights dropping to -10°C or lower. It’s perfect for snow trekking and skiing but requires proper winter gear.

Avoid Monsoon (July to Early September): Heavy rainfall makes the trail slippery and increases the risk of landslides. Although the meadows are at their greenest, trekking during this period is not recommended.
